The African Museum of Collective Wisdom
The Museum is a living digital archive and participatory cultural forum devoted to storytelling across Africa and its diaspora.
The Museum is housed by the Bakani Foundation and directly supports the foundation’s mission of harnessing the power of storytelling to [re]imagine Africa and the Diaspora.

Bakani Gatherings
A series of cultural salons exploring storytelling, heritage, sustainability, and the art of reimagining Africa and the Diaspora.
Each event is set in artful spaces and combines conversations, dialogues, performances, workshops, food, and visual culture.
Coming Soon:
The Bakani Foundation is developing a dynamic portfolio of public programming under its core pillars, designed to create spaces, archives, and cultural platforms (both digital and physical) where African and Diaspora communities co-create more inclusive and sustainable futures.
Forthcoming programs include a Collective Imagination Installation, Cultural Diplomacy project, Bakani Residencies, and Arts Prizes
